The Théâtre Equilibre is a venue located at the heart of the city of Fribourg, Switzerland. The project was the result of a competition won by Zurich-based architecture firm, Dürig AG. The auditorium provides seats for 700 spectators created by ASCÉNDER. The seat created for this impressive venue was a Perseo model. From this demanding work it can be highlighted: the wooden finishes of the backrests, the Kvadrat Pro 2 fabric, the silent system folding included in all the seats with a slow return system, the mobile and removable seats at the front row, and the lateral strapontins. The strong and generous form of the new theater in combination with its public function are not only a landmark for the city but also for the entire region, both in terms of its architecture and its cultural importance.
