The Kazerne Dossin – Memorial, Museum and Documentation Centre on Holocaust and Human Rights is a museum in Mechelen, Flanders, Belgium, which was established on the site of a German assembly camp where more than 25,000 Jews and Gypsies from Belgium and France were gathered before being taken to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. The new Kazerne Dossin museum was built against these barracks, bringing new light to this symbolic place of remembrance.
