
Philippe Patrick Starck (born in Paris, 1949) is a French designer, whose designs range from interior designs to mass-produced consumer goods such as toothbrushes, chairs, and even houses. Philippe Starck has said that he is able to design a chair in two minutes and a hotel in a day and a half. Preferring to work alone, the French artist has devised thousands of products, interiors, and buildings for clients ranging from Microsoft to Baccarat. Mr. Starck has also completed the renovation of the Alhóndiga in Bilbao (2010), Spain, place that was also dressed by ASCENDER‘s seats.
